Visiting Morgantown

To help you with your stay in Morgantown, we have provided some information about parking on the WVU Downtown Campus and dining in the area, as well as a number for a taxi service.

Parking

The following parking options are all located on the WVU Downtown Campus. Limited meter parking may also be available in downtown Morgantown over the weekend.

Visitor Parking
Free for the Weekend with a Visitor Pass

Visitors may be able to request a visitor parking permit. Generally, weekend permits for visitors are free. In order to obtain a visitor permit, you will need to call 304-293-5502.

WVU Transportation & Parking

Mountainlair Parking Garage
$1.25 an hour until 8:30pm Friday; Free all day Saturday and Sunday

The Mountainlair garage is located near both of the venues for the #EJAPSymposium, Colson Hall Room 130 and the Rhododendron Room (IN the Mountainlair). On Friday, the Mountainlair garage costs $1.25 until 8:30pm for parking. On Saturday and Sunday, it is free to park in the garage.

Parking Lot 7
Free after 5pm on Friday; Free all day Saturday and Sunday

Parking lot 7 will require a permit until 5:00pm on Friday. After 5:00pm, the lot is free for all visitors. On Saturday and Sunday, lot 7 is free.
